Flatten PDF
Flatten annotations and form fields in your PDF. (Removes form fields and makes values static)
Flatten PDF Online — Free, Private, No Upload
Filled out a PDF form but want to make the entries permanent? Flattening converts editable form fields and annotations into static PDF content. Once flattened, the data can't be accidentally modified or deleted.
This is useful before archiving documents, sharing signed forms, or finalizing contracts. Flatten ensures that what you see is what stays — no more worrying about someone changing values after the fact.
The flattening process runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your PDF is never uploaded to any server, making it safe for sensitive forms, tax documents, and legal paperwork.

FAQ
What does flattening do?
Flattening converts form fields, text boxes, and other annotations into regular PDF content. The values become part of the page, not editable fields.
Can I undo flattening?
No. Once a PDF is flattened, the original editable fields are gone. Keep your original file if you might need to edit it later.
Why can't I edit my flattened PDF?
That's the point — flattening removes editability intentionally. If you need to make changes, use the original un-flattened file or our Edit PDF tool.
